Mark your calendars for Materials & Resources Week! 

March 9 – 13, 2026 

Join Green Building Alliance for a week-long focus on the materials, products, systems, and innovations that are shaping the built environment. Throughout Materials & Resources Week, participants will engage in expert-led deep dives, interactive sessions, and site- or product-focused learning opportunities that spotlight the lifecycle of building materials, from sourcing to performance, reuse, and impact. 

Geared toward architects, designers, builders, and sustainability professionals, this themed week offers rich opportunities to connect with peers and industry leaders, share challenges and solutions, and discover emerging strategies that support a healthier, more resilient, and more responsible built environment. 

GBA and Partner hosted events will include a Green Building Basics session to kick off the week with introductory content for newcomers or seasoned pros looking for a refresher; Member Only opportunities for networking; Lightning Talks; interactive and informative “un-panels” and other creative and engaging education sessions; building tours, and more. 

Attendees will engage in discourse on circularity, understanding embodied carbon, sourcing pathways, durability, and end-of-life opportunities.

Be a part of Materials & Resources Week! 

We’re excited to offer flexible opportunities for GBA partners to contribute their expertise to the conversations of Materials & Resources. 

Opportunities include participating as a speaker in Lightning Talks, hosting a full in-person or virtual education session of your own in concert with the rest of the week’s events, or engaging high school students in a career-fair style setting during our Building Pathways: Materials & Resources Youth Conference. 

If you are interested in contributing content and showcasing thought-leadership on behalf of your organization, partners are invited to submit a proposal for review before January 16, 2026 or reach out to info@gba.org for more information.
