Back to School: Indoor Air Quality and Energy Planning for K-12 Schools
Register for this individual event OR take advantage of the All-Access Bundle to save on Resilient & Healthy Spaces Week events.
Discover why Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Energy Efficiency are equally important for K-12 schools and how schools can prioritize both issues simultaneously.
During this workshop, school facilities managers, building operators, administrators, and faculty will hear examples and best practices for high-performing schools, learn about their successes and challenges, and learn about training, funding, and technical assistance resources available regionally for improving indoor air and energy efficiency in school facilities.
Using resources included in the Center for Green Schools template for planning for healthy Indoor Air Quality, participants will break out into groups to analyze where their schools are meeting the mark, what strategies or improvements are moving schools in the right direction, and opportunities to consider new ideas.
