More About the Pittsburgh 2030 District
The Pittsburgh 2030 District is a cohort of over 100 local organizations, businesses, and government offices working toward a shared goal: to reduce energy and operational carbon emissions by 50%-65% reduction by 2030, with a further goal of zero emissions by 2040.
Each month, Green Building Alliance hosts convenings bringing together 2030 District Partners and other professionals in the property management, construction, architectural, and engineering sectors to facilitate peer-to-peer learning and support sustainable economic development. Gatherings may include project case study presentations, green building tours, technical education content, and industry data analytics reporting, but each will include a period for conversation and engagement for the 2030 Districts cohort.
All convening activities will be eligible for self-reporting continuing education units (CEUs), and details for individual meetings will be announced and shared across GBA’s networks approximately 2-4 weeks prior to the event. We look forward to celebrating and igniting continued progress toward our 2030 Challenge targets together!
