Member Only Meet Up: Networking and Conversation with Jenna Cramer (GBA) and Carolyn Sponza (Gensler) 

Join CEO Jenna Cramer and Board Member Carolyn Sponza, Principal, Gensler, for a casual, GBA members-only gathering to launch Materials & Resources Week. This meetup is designed to spark connection, conversation, and initialize momentum for the week ahead. 

Opening remarks from Jenna and Carolyn will set the tone, along with suggested discussion prompts to keep ideas and conversation flowing. The evening will include plenty of space for organic networking and relationship building with others who are deeply engaged in green building work. GBA staff and fellow members will help facilitate conversation and encourage knowledge sharing on materials, products, and resources influencing our region.

Jenna Cramer, President & CEO, Green Building Alliance 

Jenna is a nationally recognized leader in green building, sustainable development, and climate action. As Chief Executive Officer of the Green Building Alliance, she brings more than 17 years of experience with the organization, driving bold initiatives that reimagine the built environment as a catalyst for a healthier, more equitable, and more sustainable world. Under her leadership, GBA has advanced award-winning programs across Western PA and beyond, building transformative partnerships that center climate resilience, human health, equity, and economic vitality. Jenna works across sectors and communities with a steadfast commitment to compassion, collaboration, and impact. 

Carolyn Sponza, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Studio Director, Principal, Gensler

Carolyn is a Studio Director in Gensler’s Pittsburgh office. She combines her architecture and planning experience with a passion for engaging stakeholders and communities in a dialogue about long-term project planning. Trained in both social science and design, Carolyn has a unique approach to her work, considering every design decision from the lens of the user perspective. Carolyn’s recent projects include the Pittsburgh International Airport Terminal Modernization Program, where she led planning and entitlement efforts enhancing the airport’s facilities and services, and FNB Financial Center, where she was responsible for the design and planning of the commercial office project, contributing to its development and functionality.
