Mixing It Up: Site Visit to a Neville Island Concrete Plant

Presented by Carbon Leadership Forum – Pennsylvania

The urgency to reduce embodied carbon from materials and construction is reshaping how the built environment is designed and delivered. This site visit to Castle Builders Supply concrete plant on Neville Island will highlight a local manufacturer that is actively reducing embodied carbon in its products and production processes. Participants will gain firsthand insight into how material innovation can lower emissions at scale. The tour, in partnership with Carbon Leadership Forum – Pennsylvania, will be followed by a facilitated discussion on embodied carbon in the built environment. This program connects real-world manufacturing practices to actionable strategies.
