Project Technical Assistance

GBA provides behind-the-scenes technical review, guidance, and assistance to sustainable, high-performance building, renovation, and retrofit projects at a variety of scales and capacities, as well as expert assistance on improving operational efficiency, sustainable product manufacturing, and more.

Sustainable and Resilient Communities

A sustainable community is defined by energy efficient, resilient, and attainable homes, schools, and buildings; economic opportunities and high-quality jobs; quality education and learning spaces; green spaces; accessible public transportation; access to clean air and water; and safe and healthy places to raise a family.

Green & Healthy Schools Academy

The Green & Healthy Schools Academy promotes vibrant, just, inspiring, engaging, healthy, and high performing schools and communities through programs and engagement with educators, administrators, students, and community members.

2030 Districts

The Pittsburgh, Erie, and New Kensington 2030 District program sets specific targets for carbon emissions, energy use, and water use reduction that aligns with the timeline created by the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, while also improving indoor air quality.

Education & Training

GBA provides knowledge, tools, connections, confidence, and inspiration to champion sustainable building practices, while also increasing access and opportunity for essential training, upskilling, and career development.

Workforce Development

Green Building Alliance workforce development programs help individuals acquire the skills and credentials necessary to thrive in the growing green building and clean energy sectors.
