Allegheny County Green Cleaning Consultation

GBA has worked with Allegheny County to promote the use of green cleaning products and policies in County buildings.

GBA partnered with the Allegheny County Office of Sustainability to conduct an internal review and evaluation of cleaning materials and protocols used in County-owned properties. The GBA team produced a guiding document that included green cleaning product specifications for future purchasing, internal policy language, and recommended protocols for a variety of building types. Allegheny County is also a property partner in the Pittsburgh 2030 District, and County staff have engaged in GBA trainings and educational partnerships.
