The historic Ford Building
BranchPattern provided Commissioning, Enclosure, and Green Building Certification services for the transformation of the historic Ford Building—once a Model T assembly plant—into the University of Pittsburgh’s Immune Transplant and Therapy Center. This eight-story innovation hub now houses biotech labs, flexible research spaces, and collaborative environments supporting groundbreaking work in immunotherapy, cancer, aging, and chronic disease research.
A learning area in MuseumLab
BranchPattern provided Commissioning, Enclosure, Acoustics, and Green Building Certification services for the adaptive reuse of the historic Carnegie Free Library—now home to the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s MuseumLab™. This nearly 130-year-old landmark was transformed into a dynamic, healthy, and energy-efficient educational hub, achieving LEED® v4 Gold and targeting WELL Silver certification while preserving its architectural legacy.
